Two Airlifted To Hospital – Single Vehicle Collision

(BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On September 5, 2015 at 5:59 p.m., the Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with the Bruce County Emergency Services (EMS) and Northern Bruce Peninsula Fire Department responded to a report of a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 6 between Ira Lake Road and Limestone Ridge Road in Northern Bruce Peninsula.

Officers attended the scene locating a black Jeep Wrangler with six injured occupants. All six occupants were transported to local hospital with various injuries. Of the six injured; one person suffered serious life-threatening injuries, two persons were air lifted to hospital due to serious, non-life threatening injuries and three other occupants were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The highway remained closed for approximately four hours. No charges had been laid at this time due to the on-going investigation.
