Two 19 Year Olds Caught With Small Amount of Marijuana At RIDE

(TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH-ERAMOSA, ON) – On Friday July 12, 2013 at approximately 10:52 pm Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting RIDE spot checks at the intersection of Mill Road and Jones Baseline in Guelph-Eramosa Township. Police investigated the occupants of a 2004 GMC Sierra that entered into the RIDE check point and during the investigation, a small quantity of marihuana was turned over to police.

Joseph Courvoisier aged 19 of Fergus is charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 Grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on August 27, 2013 to answer to the charge.
