(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Saturday morning March 24, 2012 Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers in Mitchell were contacted by a William St. resident regarding his 2011 Dodge pickup truck that had been stolen sometime during the night.
Investigation revealed that sometime between 9 p.m. on Friday March 23, 2012 and the early hours of Saturday March 24, 2012 the unlocked truck with the keys in the ignition had been stolen from the owner’s driveway. The stolen truck had a crate with a disassembled motor cross bike in the box of the truck.
Within an hour of police receiving the report of the stolen truck it was located in a laneway off Manley Line between Blyth Road and Canada Company Road in Huron County. The truck was stripped of its tail gate and wheels. The crate containing the dirt bike was also removed.
The missing crate containing the disassembled HUSABERG motor cross bike is 2 meters long, 60 cm wide and 110 cm tall.
