(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Wednesday morning January 11, 2012, Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to a call of a pickup truck stolen from a farm on Line 29 east of Perth Road 112 (south of Stratford).
Investigation revealed that the owner of the black 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 pickup truck had parked the vehicle near the barn at approximately 5 a.m. The truck was left unlocked with the keys in the ignition. While the owner was milking his cows the vehicle was driven away by an unknown culprit. The owner of the truck had also left his wallet containing personal ID and cash on the dashboard.
The pickup truck is also described as having chrome push bars, chrome window visors and chrome bed rails. The truck has smoked windows and a short box.
