Trevor Hughson – Break And Enter, Possession Of Stolen Property

(GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a report of a break-in to several buildings and mischief caused to property at a farm operation located on Grey Road 4, in Grey Highlands. The incident is believed to have occurred some time between Sunday, May 20, 2012 and Monday, May 21, 2012. Culprit(s) entered the property and removed a truck and livestock trailer from an outbuilding.

The truck was driven around the fields until the truck and trailer jackknifed causing considerable damage to both. Another building was entered and a golf cart was removed and driven around the property as well as a neighbouring property where police found evidence of a field party. The golf cart, which was damaged, was found abandoned on the property. A third building was entered where the culprit(s) attempted to start a front end loader. The total cost of the damage to property is not known at this time.

On June 1st, 2012 at 9:18 pm, Grey County OPP officers made an arrest for the mischief done at Winslow Farms. 18 year old Trevor HUGHSON of Grey Highlands has been charged with Break and enter, Mischief over $5,000 and Possession of stolen property. He is scheduled to appear in provincial court on July 19th, 2012 to answer to the charges.
