Trespassing Snowmobile Damages Field

(SOUTH BRUCE COUNTY, ON) – On February 15th, 2011 at 1:49 pm, the South Bruce OPP received a call about a snowmobile rider trespassing on a farmer’s field, causing damage to the wheat crop. The snowmobile was located nearby and the operator was cautioned for trespassing.

The South Bruce OPP is sending a reminder to all snowmobile owners and operators. “A snowmobile can only travel on private property with the permission of the land owner. In the event that the rider causes damage to the farmer’s property or crops, a criminal charge of mischief may be considered”.
