North Huron Reeve Neil Vincent: 14.2 Wingham Police Service Board, uh, and, ah, Chief of Police uh, wants uh, ah, basically ah, to be able to uh, do some uh, repurchasing ah with 2015 draft budget uh basically before we have the exact 2015 budget, ah so this portion uh is there somebody willing to move?
That we move ahead.
Trevor and Yolanda.
Ah, ok thank you, uhm any discussion?
Bill.
Blyth Ward Councillor Bill Knott: What is the purpose of us buying 6 carbine rifles for the police force, what is their justification for this purchase?
Wingham Ward Councillor Trevor Seip: So so the justification of this purchase is the incident that was happened up on Highland Drive, when the O, when the on, when they were doing their uhm surveillance with the OPP, they were standing beside an OPP Officer that had one, and they didn’t.
Council then unanimously approved the $10,000 for the carbine rifles. That’s how the Old Boys Club works, and why Wingham is in the state it is in.
