Trailer, Snow Blower, Lawn Mower & Wood Chipper Stolen

(HURON EAST, ON) – Huron OPP officers are investigating the recent theft of a snow blower, wood chipper, riding lawn mower and trailer. The items were stolen from a farm machinery business located on Brussels Line. Those responsible forced entry into the property and once inside they located a trailer to load up the stolen equipment.

The stolen items are described as:

Homemade 15’ black trailer valued at $1000
“MTD” black, dual axle, snow blower valued at $1200
“Simplicity” blue wood chipper valued at $700
“Ferris” zero turn, red riding lawn mower valued at $7500

This crime is believed to have taken place sometime between 6:00 p.m. on December 1, 2012 and 8:00 a.m. on December 3, 2012. A blue pickup truck similar to a Dodge Dakota was observed on the property around the time of the theft.
