At the poorly attended meeting at the trailer park, about 1/2 dozen
town staff showed up to answer questions. This meeting was not
advertised in the local paper, and is briefly mentioned in the RFP
package that states the park is for sale. It is not clear why
none of the conventional media were in attendance.
The meeting started off by a representative from the Legion
confronting Pat Newson, about the attempt to sell a portion the
Legion’s property. This representative was armed with
documentation that showed the Legion was rightful owner to a portion
of the property the town was trying to sell off.
Art Clark, the retired engineer that delivered a presentation to
council, attended the meeting. Clark had a list of questions
for the army of town staff that showed up, and didn’t get any
satisfying answers.
