(HURON EAST, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently investigating the recent theft of a homemade 16’ canoe trailer. The trailer was stolen from a Goderich Street West residence in Seaforth sometime between 12:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. on December 5, 2014.
The trailer is described as a 16’ enclosed trailer with six canoe racks. The single axle enclosed trailer is made out of green pressure treated wood. Contained inside the trailer were numerous pieces of sports equipment including:
A 12’ blue Dagger Whitewater Kayak
A 12’ yellow Spirit Kayak
A 17’ yellow Nova Craft canoe and two other homemade Canoes
Fishing Equipment
Camping Gear
Assorted Power Tools
The estimated value of the stolen property is approximately $49,500.
