Trailer Detaches From Truck and Strikes Oncoming Vehicle

(KINCARDINE TWP, ON) – On October 17, 2012 at 7:57 am, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a 2 vehicle crash on Highway 21, near Sutton Street, in Kincardine Township. Officers arrived to find that a Red Ford F250 pickup was travelling south bound on the highway when a cattle trailer detached from the truck and struck the rear of a north bound Grey Chevrolet Impala. The driver of the truck, 60 year old Gary CAESAR of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Township, has been charged with Insecure load. There were no injuries reported at the scene.
