Traffic Stop Results In Drug Charge

(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – On March 6, 2012 at 11:40 p.m. Huron OPP officers stopped a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck at the intersection of Stone School Road and Clegg Line in Morris-Turnberry. Upon speaking with the male driver officers discovered he had an open container of alcohol in the truck as well as a quantity of an illegal drug.

Christopher ASHLEY, age 22, from Morris-Turnberry has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle with Open Container of Liquor and Possession of a Controlled Substance. He will attend court at a later date to answer to the drug charge.
