Traffic Stop Leads To Trafficking Charges For Three Males

On the 15th of December 2014 around 11:00pm, a police were conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Bleams Road and Trillium Drive, in the city of Kitchener. The officer observed a white Chrysler motor vehicle, apparently driving in excess of the speed limit and conducted a vehicle stop as short distance away on Erinbrook Drive.

While speaking to the driver the officer became suspicious about the presence of a controlled substance. After further investigation the officer located and seized quantities of marihuana and suspected ecstasy, a large knife and cash. A 19 year old Kitchener man has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Controlled Substance x2, Weapons Dangerous, and having open liquor. A 20 year old female from Kitchener has been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Controlled Substance, Speeding, Drive with open liquor and driving with a blood alcohol concentration above zero. An 18 year old Kitchener male was also charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Controlled Substance and having open liquor. All 3 are scheduled to appear in court.
