Traffic stop leads to three arrests

On August 8, 2014 at 2:44 a.m., the Guelph Police conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle on Woodlawn Road East. The three occupants were arrested when police observed a quantity of drugs in the car. A search subsequent to the arrests discovered more drugs and a pellet gun. Further investigation determined the plates on the vehicle had been stolen.

Abdullah Alghanim, 18 years of Guelph has been charged with theft under $5,000, possession of stolen property and two counts of possession of a controlled substance (CDSA). He will appear in court on August 11, 2014.

Khalil Ghoosi, 19 years of Guelph has been charged with weapons dangerous, breach recognizance, breach probation and two counts of possession of a controlled substance (CDSA). He will appear in court on August 11, 2014.

Tatjana Moffat, 18 years of Guelph has been charged with breach probation and two counts of possession of a controlled substance (CDSA). She will appear in court on August 26, 2014.
