Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Charges, Breach of Curfew

(MORRIS TURNBERRY, ON) -On October 29, 2011 at approximately 9:00p.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer conducted a routine traffic stop on Morris Road in the Municipality of Morris Turnberry. Upon speaking to the driver the officer determined the he was currently on probation and breaching the curfew conditions. The driver was arrested and his vehicle was subsequently searched as a result. Officers located a large amount of marijuana inside the vehicle.

As a result of the investigation, Krzysztof KURZYALOWSKI (28) of Kitchener has been charged with two counts of Fail to Comply with Recognizance, and one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance. He will answer to his charges at the Ontario Court of Justice- Goderich at a later date.

Female passenger, Sarah BOTKA (28) of Kitchener has been charged with one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance. She will answer to her charges at the Ontario Court of Justice- Goderich on December 19, 2011. LP11307188
