(ASHFIELD- COLBORNE- WAWANOSH, ON) – On October 19, 2011 a Huron County OPP officer was conducting radar patrol on Bluewater Highway in the Municipality of Ashfield- Colborne- Wawanosh. The officer observed a vehicle at a high rate of speed and conducted a traffic stop. Upon speaking to the driver, the officer detected a strong odour of freshly burnt marijuana. Further investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of marijuana.
As a result of the investigation, Corrine FRANCE (28) of Ripley has been charged with one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance, as well as her speeding ticket. She will answer to her charges at the Ontario Court of Justice- Walkerton on November 21, 2011. LP11296666
