(BLUEWATER, ON) On December 6, 2011 at 7:25 p.m. officers from Huron County OPP were conducting a R.I.D.E check on Bluewater Highway, Bluewater, ON when a beige Ford entered the checkpoint. The officer detected the odour of burnt marijuana coming from inside the vehicle and in plain view observed a small quantity of suspected marijuana. The male was immediately arrested.
As a result, Dustin BEDARD aged 18 of Bluewater has been charged with one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to section 4(1) Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He will answer to the charge at the Ontario Court of Justice-Goderich on February 6, 2012. LP11344343
