Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Charge

(BLUEWATER, ON) – On September 14, 2012 just before 10:30 p.m. Huron County OPP officers stopped a grey Toyota Matrix that was travelling northbound on Airport Line without headlights. Upon speaking with the male driver officers detected the odour of an illegal drug coming from inside the vehicle. Upon further questioning the driver admitted he had an illegal drug in the vehicle. He later produced it to the officers for subsequent seizure.

As a result, Ryan O’ROURKE, age 20, from Central Huron has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. He has a court date scheduled for the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on October 18, 2012.
