On Wednesday November 14, 2012 at 11:17 a.m., a Jeep Cherokee turned left out of a shopping plaza on Eramosa Road Guelph and almost collided with a Guelph Police cruiser. The vehicle was stopped, and the officer could detect the odour of burnt marihuana. The driver was arrested and a search incident to arrest revealed that he was in possession of a quantity of marihuana and various forms of drug paraphernalia.
Yusuf HAMKAR 18 years of Guelph was charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Marihuana, Drive Motor Vehicle – No Validation on Plate and Fail to Yield from Private Drive. He will appear in court in December.
