(WALKERTON, ON) On May 18, 2013 at 4:29 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a 2 vehicle crash at the intersection of Jackson Street south and Durham Street east in Walkerton. Officers arrived to find that a Purple Ford F150 had run a red light and struck a Silver Ford F150. 27 year old William CUMMING of St Clair Township was charged with Disobey red light. There were no injuries reported at the scene.
A review of traffic collisions on South Bruce OPP patrolled roads for 2012 revealed that violating rules of the road placed 2nd most common on the Top Ten Contributing Factors list. Drivers play an important role in roadway safety; please drive carefully.
