Yesterday morning, an officer on general patrol was conducting radar enforcement on Bearline Road when he observed a vehicle travelling eastbound at a high rate of speed. The officer recorded the vehicle speeding 111 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
Through investigation, the officer also learned that the driver was suspended for unpaid fines.
A 29-year-old Grimsby man has been charged with driving while under suspension and speeding. His vehicle was subsequently towed from the scene.
