On December 3, 2014 at approximately 9:40am, Saugeen Shores Police officers were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Bruce Road #3 and Carlisle Street in Saugeen Shores.
A Toyota Corolla that was northbound on Carlisle Street was struck by a dump truck which was westbound on Bruce Road #3. The driver of the Toyota was seriously injured and was taken to Southampton Hospital and then to Hospital in London.
The intersection of Bruce Road #3 and Carlisle Street is closed for a police investigation.
Saugeen Shores Police are being assisted by an Ontario Provincial Police Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Unit.
