Town Hall Notifies Residents Of Council Meetings After The Fact

WFP has received several complaints about town hall not posting council meetings on the calendar of North Huron’s website. We have been checking the website this month to see if this indeed true. There were only two council meetings this month, April 2, and April 16. These meetings were posted today, April 17 a day after the last meeting.

If the town truly wanted the public to attend meetings, they wouldn’t wait until the meetings are over to post the dates and times. If they did want the public to attend, they wouldn’t have tried to eliminate Public and Press questions at the end of meetings.

If you do attend and try to communicate your concerns to your elected Representatives, there is a very good chance you will be silenced by Reeve/Mayor Neil Vincent’s gavel of oppression. Maybe you will be treated like the taxpayer on Oct. 17, 2011 when he asked So
