(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) – On Monday August 22, 2016, the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a reported break-enter and theft from a new residential 4plex under construction at the corner of Elma St. W. and Nelson Ave. S. in Listowel.
Perth County OPP investigators attended the scene and determined that the locked building appeared to be forcibly entered sometime between the evening of Thursday August 18th and the morning of Friday August 19th.
The culprit(s) removed a number of tools and equipment which was stored in one of the buildings units.
Stolen tools:
Grey Stanley electric skill saw
Red/Black Milwaukee Force Logic crimping tool (see attached picture)
Green nitrogen cylinder (48” tall 7” diameter)
Tank regulator
Refrigeration gauges (2) with 3 hoses attached, red/yellow/blue
(The stolen items are specialty tools, with the crimping tool being a rare 6 jaw attachment tool).
The Perth County OPP is continuing their investigation into this break-in.
