Tools Stolen From Home Under Construction

(SOUTH HURON, ON) Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently investigating a break, enter and theft that occurred at the Habitat for Humanity home that is currently under construction in Exeter. Officers responded to the Edward Street property on January 19, 2015 and met with the victim. Sometime between 5:00 p.m. on January 16, 2015 and 7:00 a.m. on January 19, 2015 those responsible entered into the home through an insecure front door. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole tools and wiring from the home.

The stolen items consisted of:

Two 10 inch saws

A six foot level

A T-Square

A small aluminum ladder

Two five hundred foot spools of 14/2 wire

Two five hundred foot spools of 14/3 wire

The total value of the stolen goods is estimated at $700.
