Tools Stolen From Construction Company Yard

(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Monday April 23, 2012, Perth County OPP officers were called to a reported theft of tools from a construction company on Line 87 west of Hwy. 23 (north of Listowel).

Police investigation revealed that sometime between 5:30 p.m. Friday, April 20 and 7:30 a.m. Monday April 23, 2012, an unknown suspect(s) entered the yard by scaling the fence. Inside the yard a “Job Box” was opened and the following tools were removed from inside the box:

– PRAXAIR torch set, serial # 3T0A10, stored in a yellow plastic case.
– HILTI hammer drill, model TE5, serial # 3DH211 in a plastic carrying case.
– MILWAUKEE portable band saw, serial # 3S405 in a yellow plastic case.
– DEWALT reciprocating saw, serial # SID07 (assorted blades were with the saw).
*All of the tools above have “ITS” engraved into the body of the units.

Anyone who may have observed suspicious persons or vehicles in the area of the theft during the weekend, or who has information about this crime, is requested to contact the North Perth OPP at (519) 291-1414 or you can call 1-888-310-1122.
