Tools Stolen From Back Of Pickup Truck

(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Friday March 13, 2015, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to an address along Perth Road 107 (north of Amulree) where a theft of tools was discovered.

Investigation revealed that sometime between 6 p.m. on Thursday March 12, 2015, and 7 a.m. on Friday March 13, 2015, unknown person(s) gained access to the toolboxes in the back of a pickup truck. The toolboxes contained carpentry hand and power tools with an approximate value of $5,800.

The culprit(s) would have required a vehicle to remove the stolen tools from the scene.

Stolen items:

– Bosh brand, Circular Saw, Hammer Drill, SAS Max, and Laser Cube

– Numerous chisels and a clay spade

– DeWalt brand, 18volt impact driver, and radio

– Socket/ratchet kit

– Differing sizes of Con Drives and a 3 jaw keyless chuck

– Stihl 12” Cutquick saw

– Pashode coil nailer

– 22 ounce Estwing hammer

Anyone with information about the theft of these tools, or who may have observed suspicious activity in the vicinity of this theft during the hours indicated, is requested to contact the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
