(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Wednesday June 26, 2013, the homeowner of a rural residence along Line 36 north of Mitchell contacted the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police to advise that the home’s unlocked garage had been entered and items were removed.
Investigation indicated that sometime between Tuesday afternoon June 25, and Wednesday evening June 26, 2013, unknown person(s) attended the residence and entered the unlocked garage.
From inside the garage, the culprit(s) removed a large wheeled tool cabined, filled with tools. A Mastercraft 200psi air compressor was also taken as well as a large amount of beer from the garage beer fridge. Due to the weight and size of the stolen items, a vehicle would have been used.
