(BRANT TWP, ON) – On April 1st, 2011 at 7:50 pm, a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol along County Road 4, Brant Township observed a pickup truck travelling at a high rate of speed. Radar showed the truck was travelling at 152 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone. The truck was stopped and the officer discovered that the driver had been drinking alcohol. 41 year old Todd BORGFORD of Brant Township has been charged with Operate over 80 milligrams and Speeding – more than 50 km/h over posted limit. He is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on May 30th, 2011 to answer to the charges.
