(HURON EAST, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently investigating the theft of four tires and rims stolen from the rear box of a Chevrolet pickup truck. The owner of the pickup had left his vehicle parked overnight on December 17, 2013 at an automotive repair shop located on Huron Road near Seaforth.
The business owner arrived at his shop on the morning of December 18 and immediately noticed the tires had been removed from the truck. A check around the garage also revealed someone had entered a second pickup truck in the lot and stole a set of keys out of it.
The stolen wheels are described as late model Dodge, chrome, 16 inch rims with Cooper ATR Discover LT tires. The value of the tires and rims is estimated at approximately $1500.
