(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – A speeding driver ended up without a vehicle following a traffic stop last Saturday. On August 10, 2013 at 12:47 p.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer spotted a grey Nissan Pathfinder speeding westbound on Howick-Turnberry Road. The vehicle’s speed was locked at 110km/h, 30 km/h over the 80km/h zone speed limit.
While speaking with the driver it was noticed the licence plates were not authorized to be on the Pathfinder. In addition, it was observed the vehicle had several mechanical and safety deficiencies.
As a result, Timothy MCARTHUR, 42, from Morris-Turnberry has been charged with Speeding, Use Plates Not Authorized for Vehicle and Operate Unsafe Vehicle. He has a court appearance scheduled for Provincial Offences Court – Goderich on October 8, 2013. The Pathfinder was towed from the scene.
