(GREENOCK TWP, ON) – On January 12, 2013 at 7:25 pm, a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol along Highway 9 in Greenock Township saw a White Ford pickup traveling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle speed was displayed on radar at 121 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone. The truck was stopped and the officer found that the driver had been drinking alcohol. 45 year old Timothy FITZPATRICK of Kincardine has been charged with Operate over 80 milligrams and Speeding. He is scheduled to appear in court on February 11, 2013 to answer to the charges.
