Timothy Bonnett – Drunk Driving etc.

(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – A R.I.D.E (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) check set up on Bluewater Veterans Highway just north of Kingsbridge Line resulted in a driver leaving with a court date.

Shortly after 8:00 p.m. on July 20, 2012 a green Chevrolet was stopped and upon speaking with the male driver, the officer noted the driver had been drinking alcohol. Open alcohol and a small quantity of an illegal drug were also located in the vehicle. Timothy BONNETT, age 36, from Paisley has been charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – Over 80 milligrams of Alcohol, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Driving Motor Vehicle with Open Container of Liquor. He has a scheduled court date on August 20, 2012 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and the motor vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
