Tiffany FEICK – Collision, Drug Driving

(HURON EAST, ON) – A 26 year old female driver from South Huron is facing three Criminal charges and a Highway Traffic Act offence following an afternoon collision on February 9, 2014. Just before 1:30 p.m. Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a two vehicle collision located at the intersection of John Street and Louisa Street in Seaforth.

Police investigation revealed the driver of a Kia Sedona minivan was travelling northbound on John Street when she pulled out in front of a Pontiac Montana that had the right of way on Louisa Street. The vehicles sustained significant damage however the occupants of both vehicles were uninjured.

As police were speaking with the driver of the Sedona they detected the odour of marihuana emanating from her. Further investigation revealed the driver was displaying several signs that she was impaired by drug.

As a result, the driver of the Kia Sedona was arrested and a search incident to arrest revealed the driver to be in possession of marijuana.

Additionally, upon completing checks on the driver it was determined she was serving a probation sentence and was failing to abide by the condition of Keep the Peace and Be of Good Behaviour.

As a result, 26 year old Tiffany FEICK from South Huron has been charged with Impaired Driving, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Fail to Comply with Probation Order and Fail to Yield to Traffic on a Through Highway.

She has since been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for March 3, 2014 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
