Scattered thunderstorms with localized heavy rain expected today.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected today as a moist, unstable airmass traverses Southern Ontario. Some of the thunderstorms over the region could be heavy at times giving local rainfall amounts in the 20 to 40 mm range. Higher amounts may be possible in areas that receive more than one round of thunderstorms or where thunderstorms are nearly stationary.
