(TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH/ERAMOSA, ON) – This morning, at approximately 6:00 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious collision involving multiple motor vehicles on Highway 6, north of Guelph. Initial reports indicated that three vehicles had collided and multiple people had sustained injuries.
OPP as well as Guelph Fire Department and Guelph-Wellington Paramedics Services attended and are treating multiple patients with varying degrees of injuries; all injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
Weather is considered to be a possible contributor to the collision.
Police continue to investigate and the highway will remain closed until further notice.
