Three Robberies Reported in Northwest London

London Police Service is requesting assistance from the public in identifying the suspects in three separate robberies in northwest London.

On Sunday July 17, 2016 at approximately 10:00 p.m., while riding his bicycle in the area of Blackacres Boulevard and Hawthorne Road, a young male was approached by approximately eight males on bicycles who subsequently assaulted him and stole his cellular phone. The victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the assault.

On Tuesday July 19, 2016 at approximately 2:30 p.m., while out rollerblading on Blackacres Boulevard near Hawthorne Road, a male was approached by four males who subsequently assaulted him and stole his headphones. The victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the assault.

On Tuesday July 19, 2016 at 11:21 p.m., while out for a walk, a male was approached by between 6-8 males on bicycles in the area of Sarnia Road and Chapman Court. The victim was assaulted by these males, and his cellular phone was stolen during the altercation. The victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the assault.

The suspects in the first two robberies are described as being male, black, between 15-18 years of age, wearing hoodies that covered their faces. The suspects in the third robbery were described as being males, black and caucasian, between 15-18 years of age, wearing hoodies that covered their faces. There were no weapons seen or used during the commission of these robberies. It is believed that these three robberies are linked to the same individuals.

The London Police want to take this opportunity to remind the public to be aware of their surroundings, remain in well-lit open areas when travelling alone, and to report any suspicious activity or people to police.
