Two persons were arrested following a police raid at a Westside residence this afternoon. Members of the Owen Sound Police Drug Unit, Criminal Investigation Branch and HEAT unit executed a search warrant at 892 Alpha Street #2 in the City of Owen Sound.
Investigators seized $900.00 worth of crystal meth, a smaller quantity of marihuana, a digital scale, and drug packaging.
Charged:
Lynda Yule 28 years of 892 Alpha Street #2, Owen Sound has been charged with two counts of Conspiracy to Traffic Crystal Methamphetamine, Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Marihuana.
Douglas Hill 27 years of 1389 3rd Avenue East, Owen Sound has been charged with Conspiracy to Traffic Crystal Methamphetamine and Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine.
Ben TALBOT 23 years of no fixed address has been charged with Conspiracy to Traffic Crystal Methamphetamine. He was arrested and charged last week with Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking. The conspiracy charge was added today in relation to this investigation. Talbot is scheduled to have a bail hearing in the Owen Sound Court on June 18th.
Yule and Hill will appear in the Owen Sound Court on Thursday morning for a bail hearing.
