On Thursday June 30, 2016 at approximately 8:00 p.m., a motor vehicle was turning left out of 665 Fairway Road Kitchener onto Fairway Road going southbound. 3 pedestrians were walking eastbound across Fairway Road. The motor vehicle struck all 3 pedestrians. The traffic light was green for the car and the pedestrians. Two of the pedestrians, aged 19 and 22 sustained minor injuries and the 3rd pedestrian, an 80 yr old Kitchener female was transported to Grand River hospital. She suffered a fractured pelvis. The driver, a 59 year old female from Kitchener was charged with turn not in safety.
