(BLUEWATER, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently investigating three separate collisions that took place very close together on Highway 4 (London Road) earlier this afternoon. All three crashes occurred just north of Brucefield between Mill Road and Roman Road.

Just after 2:30 p.m. Huron OPP, Huron County EMS & Brucefield Fire Department members responded to the initial crash involving a northbound GMC Sierra pickup and a southbound Ford Escape. The driver of the Ford Escape, a 21-year-old male from Central Huron and his 20-year-old female passenger from Huron East were both transported to hospital with injuries. The driver sustained minor injuries whereas the female passenger sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Shortly after the first collision a second collision involving two vehicles took place and then it was followed by a four vehicle collision. No one was injured in these two collisions.
