Three Car Crash and Fail To Remain

At approximately 10:35 am a 26 year old Barrie man was involved in a collision with two other cars in the area of Bernick Drive, Barrie. As a result of the crash the male fled the scene. Traffic Officers spoke to the owner of the vehicle, who advised that his twin brother had taken it without his permission and dumped the car near his residence where he hid from police. Once police went to the brother’s residence it was learned that he already left. Officers eventually located and charged the male with Fail To Remain at the scene of an accident, Fail To Report, Carless Driving and Fail To Render Assistance. The male has a court date of May 23rd, 2014.
