Three-car collision

On July 23, 2014 at 10:00 a.m., the Guelph Police Traffic Division went to a three-car personal injury collision at 635 Woodlawn Road West. A Kitchener man driving a GMC van westbound on Woodlawn, struck the rear of a Toyota Corolla sending it into the side of a Shuttle van which was stopped in the driveway of a dealership. The driver of the Toyota Corolla was transported to Guelph General Hospital by Guelph Wellington EMS for a sore left shoulder. All three vehicles were demolished with an estimated value in excess of $11,000. The male driver from Kitchener was charged with careless driving and driving while crowded. He will appear in court in September.
