On October 2, 2014 at 9:30 a.m., Guelph Police officers in the downtown observed what was alleged to be a drug transaction between three males. The males were arrested and the subsequent search discovered a quantity of prescription medications and a prohibited knife.
Christopher Vandeursen, 33 years of Guelph has been charged with trafficking a controlled substance, possession for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of breach probation. He will appear in court on October 3, 2014.
Benjamin Manhardt, 43 years of Guelph has been charged with possession of a controlled substance. He will appear in court on November 14, 2014.
Thomas Cunningham, 38 years of Guelph has been charged with possession of a prohibited weapon. He will appear in court on November 18, 2014.
