(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – On January 3, 2018 at approximately 5:08 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended the Stone Tree Apartments located on Hwy. 6 & 10 in the Municipality of Meaford in response to a threats complaint. The victims, a 62-year old woman from the Municipality of Meaford and a 38-year old Township of Chatsworth man, were not injured.
As a result of the investigation, 31-year old Matthew CROUSE of the Municipality of Meaford was arrested and charged with two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and two counts of breach of probation.
A bail hearing was scheduled for January 4, 2018.
