(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – Huron OPP officers are investigating an early morning attempt by two thieves that tried to steal anhydrous ammonia from a farm property located on Browntown Road. At approximately 4:40 a.m. the culprits were spotted near the ammonia tank, when they were spotted by the owner they fled on their ATV’s. The suspects were followed a short distance by the owner however he lost sight of them as they entered Brussels. The thieves were unsuccessful in their attempt to steal ammonia, however they cut a vapour line that will now need to be replaced at a cost of $200.
