Thieves Swap Generator For ATV

(Morris-Turnberry, ON) On Tuesday, September 21st at approximately 10:45 am a white Dodge pickup truck with an extended cab and short box stopped at a Turnberry-Culross Road West residence. An unknown female went to the front door of the house but no one was home. The vehicle then went to the back of the property where the occupants of the truck unloaded a generator and loaded up an ATV that they stole from inside a large shed on the property. The suspect vehicle then left the property.

The female suspect is described as being in her early 20’s and weighing approximately 130 lbs. She had long dark hair and a darker complexion. She was wearing a green sweater and blue jeans.

The ATV that was stolen from inside the shed is a 2002 Polaris 700 RA Sportsman twin that is mainly black with grey side panels. The ATV had a wench as well as front and rear rack extenders. It was plated with Ontario marker #08JL2.

The generator left behind by the suspects is believed to have been stolen but has not been reported to police. It has 8 hp and 4400 watts. Anyone missing a generator is encouraged to contact the Huron OPP and provide identifiers for their missing property.
