Thieves Break In Again Same Night After Lock Replaced

(NORTH PERTH, ON) – Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers continue to investigate a break, enter and theft that occurred at a storage facility located on Fairlane Road in Listowel.

On January 17, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. two suspects attended the storage facility and cut the lock off of one of the storage units. Once inside the unit the thieves located and stole several large black totes that contained various antiques and collectables. Later that evening, around 7:30 p.m. the suspects returned to the same unit and cut off the replacement lock. Once inside the unit they stole additional boxes and totes containing antiques and collectables.

The two male suspects were seen wearing black clothing and gloves. They were last seen leaving on Road 164 driving an early 2000’s model, light blue Mazda mini-van.

The value of the stolen items is estimated to be $6,000 – $8,000.
