(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – Earlier today (June 17) an officer from the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment commenced an investigation into the theft of a memorial rose bush. The unbloomed rosebush is approximately 4 feet in height and 1 foot in width.
The rosebush was stolen from a Wingham Cemetery gravesite located on Holmes Line. The owner of the rose bush reported it was stolen from her parent’s gravesite sometime between 2:00 p.m. on June 13 and 9:00 a.m. on June 14, 2013.
