There are no Gods.  If you think Gods exist, and that your God
is better than your neighbour’s God, it is time you set that
childhood delusion aside.  Your parents told you stories when
you were little, to warn you of dangers, and also to comfort you,
this is what parents do.  We tell you there is a boogie man
outside, so you are too afraid to wander away from home at
night.  We tell you Santa put the presents under the tree,
partly because we don’t need credit, but mainly so the kids badger
Santa instead of the parents.  It is a great scam, the kids
pester us for all the latest toys, we tell them to write it on a
list and send it to the north pole, and they fall for it.  We
even extort good behavior out of our children by telling them Santa
has a naughty list, and if you aren’t good you won’t get any
presents.  Santa knows if you are sleeping”
