Thefts In Lower Town Wingham

(MORRIS-TURNBERRY, ON) – At least three residents from Princess Street in Morris-Turnberry woke up to find someone had gone through their unlocked vehicles sometime overnight on April 29, 2012.

One resident reported his black bomber style leather jacket stolen. The jacket had the company name CASE IH Agriculture embroidered on the back. A black wallet containing identification and a small quantity of cash were also stolen.

Two other vehicles were entered and loose change was stolen.

Huron County OPP is reminding residents to “Lock it or Lose it”. Often this crime can be prevented by locking your vehicle. Criminals look for the easy target, don’t be that target, secure your property.
